The Luiss Department of Political Science is looking for an outstanding scholar for a full-time associate/full professorship in Sociology.
Ideal candidates will have a PhD as well as research experience and a track record of publications in major international journals. Providing Luiss is committed towards the “engaged scholarship” philosophy and adopts the “enquiry-based” approach, ideal candidates must have the ability to lead rigorous research activities on problems impacting society at large. At the same time, they should be able to selectively “connect the dots” between and across disciplinary domains, as well as have the capacity to contribute towards the formation of “specialized generalists”, i.e., supporting graduates to navigate complexities and operate between and across knowledge domains.
