Starting Tuesday, January 19, Luiss hosts four talks to present research entitled Italy and its Reputation: Universities from italiadecide in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo and drafted by Domenico Asprone, Pietro Maffettone, Massimo Rubecchi and Vincenco Alfano.
The aim of the research is to evaluate the importance of international rankings in higher education, the ranking of Italy and initiatives to improve our international reputation in a sector that is strategic to the development and competitiveness of the country and its businesses.
The work will be presented during four webinars: the first, Merits and Criticism of Rankings, will be held January 19 at 6:00 pm and streamed live over Webex. Registration required.
Introducing the research is Luiss Vice President Paola Severino, Chief Institutional Affairs and External Communication Officer at Intesa Sanpaolo Stefano Lucchini, and President of italiadecide Anna Finocchiaro.
The next two talks, held on January 26 and February 2 at 6:00 pm, focus on the Reputation of the University in a Globalized World and the Reputation of Italian Universities and the Value of Communication.
The fourth event, entitled Choices and Policies for a University's Reputation will be held on February 23 and streamed live on Luiss Social TV.
Speaking are Vice President Paola Severino, President of Intesa Sanpaolo Gian Maria Gros-Pietro, President of Fondazione Leonardo Luciano Violante and the Minister of Universities and Research Gaetano Manfredi.
At the end of each event, there will be a dedicated Q&A Session in which it will be possible to ask questions to the speakers.
