#Luiss.MasterClasses - Intersections is a new series of events organized by the University to reflect on intersections between disciplines, cultures and contexts. The talks are part of the wider #Luiss.MasterClasses project, with the first two series dedicated to the pandemic and related themes.

The complex challenges of modern society require original hypotheses and interpretations to redefine the problems and their frames, in other words, coordination of the points of view of various fields and interactions between distant disciplines. At Luiss, we are convinced that our true strength lies in diversity and variety: driving our future is the intersection of fields and disciplines, different paths, foreign cultures and new prospectives.

The first event in the new series, on the US elections between politics and culture, will be held Thursday, November 5 at 7:00 pm. Special guests are Donatella Izzo, Professor of Anglo-American Literature at Università degli Studi di Napoli L’Orientale and Sergio Fabbrini, Director of the Luiss Department of Political Science. Introducing the talk is Luiss Rector Andrea Prencipe with moderation from SkyTG24 and Radio 24 Journalist Maria Latella.

The event will be streamed live on the University's website, Facebook and Youtube channels.
