On February 11 on the Luiss Viale Pola campus, Luiss Vice President Paola Severino, Rector Andrea Prencipe and General Manager Giovanni Lo Storto signed an agreement with the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elisabetta Belloni to consolidate the two institutions' collaboration on the Luiss Diplomatic Forum.
The annual event offers perspectives from the Italian diplomatic community, foreign diplomatic representation to Rome, companies and non-governmental organizations that operate on the global level to promote productive dialogue between protagonists on the international relations scene. The Luiss Diplomatic Forum offers grounds for exchange, discussion and networking between high-ranking representatives of the Ministry and Italian diplomacy, the community of Luiss Alumni, and Luiss students studying to enter the Italian foreign service.
"Luiss has long adopted a strategy of large learning to shape our students into global citizens in any professional field. This is the foundation of the international spirit at our University that is proud to officialize this important project with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to shape future leaders in our global political, economic and diplomatic community," declared Vice President Paola Severino. She added: "This agreement embodies the international drive at Luiss, exemplified by our educational model, our faculty with members from 13 countries and over 300 agreements with universities in 60 countries."
