Merit-based scholarships for students from disadvantaged areas to build new futures. This is Luiss Guido Carli University's commitment in the fourth year of Legalità e Merito, the initiative designed to generate awareness of the importance of respecting rules and fighting corruption in younger generations.

On Thursday, February 18, at 4:00 pm, Luiss opens this year's program with Luiss Vice President Paola Severino, the mind behind the initiative, Head of Human, Financial and Instrumental Resources at the Ministry of Education Giovanni Boda and EVP – Director of External Relations & Communication Inwit Michelangelo Suigo, illustrating the characteristics and latest updates of the project to participants from Luiss, schools and youth detention centers.

Born in collaboration with the Ministry of Education with the Ministry of Justice, the High Council of the Judiciary, the National Anti-Corruption Agency and the National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Agency, Legalità e Merito invites young people to reflect on the value of respecting rules, necessary to shape future society and build the foundations for a more just and inclusive future that leaves nobody behind.

This year, the project's partner Inwit, the most important Italian wireless infrastructure network provider, offers two scholarships to Luiss bachelor's and single-cycle master's programs.

The program also offers participants 23 scholarships to attend Luiss Summer Schools.

A team of 140 Luiss Ambassadors from all 4 Departments, with several mentees from 22 high schools and youth detention centers, will create a series of workshops to spread the culture of legality, from active citizenship to migration, from ending corruption to fighting organized crime.
