Riccardo Roberti is a graduate of the Luiss bachelor's program in Economics and Management, during which he participated in an Erasmus program with Maastricht University. Afterwards, Roberti continued at Luiss wth a master's degree in Accounting, Control and Finance, spending a semester at Universität St. Gallen, a top ranked school according to the Financial Times, where he studied Strategy and International Management.

In Riccardo's opinion, Luiss University's strengths are "the preparation students receive during their bachelor's programs and the numerous opportunities that the University offers to master's students to experience the working world and to widen their networks."

Roberti currently works at eBay's global headquarters in the Finance and Analytics sector. "Coming here was a risk. The international culture and working as part of a global network is very challenging, but I believe it can only help me to grow personally."

A particularly important figure for Roberti was Luiss Rector Andrea Prencipe. "He was a professor that inspired me from day one, both during conferences and his course in Entrepreneurship Innovation and Technology. I still try to stay in contact with him for advice and the latest information."

The moment Riccardo remembers best about his time at Luiss was his graduation day: "It marked the end of a long path with amazing memories."

To students interested in an international career, Riccardo suggests looking for, creating and taking advantage of all the opportunities you are offered. He also stresses the importance of networking.

Riccardo's current goal is to continue accumulating experience abroad to widen his personal horizons as much as possibile. However, in the future he would like to come back to Italy and invest his skills at home.
