On Monday, September 19, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on the Viale Romania and Via Parenzo campuses, LUISS hosts a Welcome Day for first-year students.
As tradition, our four departments will present their degree programs, and administrative staff will meet with students at informational stands on both campuses.
In the afternoon, starting at 3:45 p.m., the Viale Romania campus will host a plenary session with the official welcome from Rector Massimo Egidi, General Manager Giovanni Lo Storto and President Emma Marcegaglia. Participating in the session are also LUISS Alumni Association President Daniele Pelli and ENEL Russia General Director Carlo Palasciano Villamagna.
The session also features testimony from LUISS graduates Carlo Cauti, journalist in São Paulo; Sunny Gugliani, Head of Communcations for Airbus Group India; and Chiara Lo Faro, Vice President Multinational Corporations at YES BANK.
For the first time, students will be able to experiment with augmented reality content that will guide them around campus and help them discover all the services and offices that the university offers. Students can access the content through a special Welcome Day app that students can download through the official LUISS app on the morning of September 19.
