On Monday, May 16, 2016, at 2:30 p.m. in the Viale Pola Aula Magna, LUISS and the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio present 40 years in 90 minutes: the history of Italy told through soccer

Professors Simona Colarizi from Sapienza and Giovanni Orsini from LUISS will interview five champions from the history of Italian soccer: Gianni Rivera European champion 1968 and vice world champion 1970, Antonio Cabrini world champion 1982, Demetrio Albertini vice world champion 1994, Pierluigi Collina referee of the 2002 World Final and Simone Perrotta world champion 2006.

The conference aims to reread recent decades from an unusual point of view and offer students new points to reflect on.

Participating in the event are also Vice Rector in Charge of Teaching Roberto Pessi and General Manager Giovanni Lo Storto as well as President of FIGC Carlo Tavecchio.

Furthermore, starting at 10:00 a.m., the Sala delle Colonne will host an exhibition of the 4 world cups won awareded to the Italian national team in 1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006.

The conference is open to the public, registration is obligatory.
