From Inferno to Paradiso at the Teatro Olimpico

Emiliano Pellisari returns to the Teatro Olimpico with Dall’Inferno al Paradiso, presenting Dante's masterpiece through an original and refined summary of the entire Divine Comedy, uniting traditional technique, Baroque machinery and acrobatics. The men and women that Dante speaks of are not bodies but intelligence, memories, visions, desires and ideas: spirits. And spirits are weightless.

This physical and poetic notion is the starting point for Emiliano Pellisari's staging. Thanks to the use of Baroque scenery techniques and illusions, and the passion of dancers, acrobats and actors, this recreation of Dante's path is brought to life.
