As of September 1, 2016, LUISS alumnus Fabio d’Angelantonio will be the new chief executive officer of Loro Piana, the Italian emblem of fine textiles, clothing and luxury accessories acquired by the LVHM group three years ago.
From the class of 1988, d’Angelantonio has had a long career in retail and marketing. He began in Brussels with publishing house Hemma before working in Milan for the Fiat group portal Ciaoweb and with Indesit where he acted as head of advertising.
In 2005 he joined Luxottica as the chief marketing officer. In 2009 he was nominated president of Luxottica’s global brand Sunglass Hut.
