The first meeting of the Scientific Committee of National Recovery and Resilience Plan established by the Ministry of University and Research was held on June 18 with Maria Cristina Messa called to support the coordination and implementation of the measures provided for by the MUR. 

Paola Severino, Luiss’s Deputy President, participated in the meeting as the Chair of the Committee, comprising of seven other professionals and scientific experts: Christian Cipriani, Full Professor of Bioengineering at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Massimo Camarda, Manager at SenSIC GmbH and STLab s.r.l., Elisa Molinari, Full Professor of Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Rino Rappuoli, Extraordinary Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Siena, Loretta del Mercato, Senior Researcher of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Andrea Sironi, Full Professor of Economics of Financial Intermediation at the Bocconi University of Milan, and Andrea Graziosi, Full Professor of Contemporary History at the “Federico II” University of Naples.

Minister Maria Cristina Messa thanked all Scientific Committee members for accepting the responsibilities associated with the task set out by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan to design and shape reforms, projects and investments for research in Italy.
