Luiss graduate Filippo Pietrosanti undertook the Single-Cycle Master's Degree Course in Law, choosing to specialize in Corporate and Tax Law (Major in Diritto societario e tributario) during his final two years. “I chose Luiss because it is a university with a strong international dimension, offering numerous opportunities for growth and development”.

Filippo attempted to grasp the benefits of being part of a university with an international scope, first by embarking an Erasmus experience in England and then completing the LLM Educational Program at the American University Washington College of Law. “The American approach is very different compared to the Italian one, also because of diverse legal systems. Indeed, studying practical cases is compelling and exciting. Furthermore, these experiences help to best prepare you to the world of work”.

Today, the Luiss graduate works at the Chiomenti law firm, engaging in Corporate Law activities. "I am very happy, it has been one year already and I have learned a lot. You learn a lot during first work experiences especially in terms of your areas of interest”.

Other than his studies and the conferences he attended, what Filippo takes away from his experience at Luiss are the people and relationships he built at Luiss. Filippo explained, “I believe interactions stimulate the acquisition of transferable skills”.

He recommended university students of today to study hard without missing out on opportunities. “Luiss offers numerous opportunities allowing students to fully immerse in the university experience. Experiences abroad help you become more mature faster. I would consider returning in academia in the future, even although is not always easy to balance work and study commitments”.
