Luiss Guido Carli, together with the Università di Foggia and the Associazione GINA - Grandi Idee Nascono Amando - will conduct a debate on the effect of immigrants and integration here in Italy. The conversation will be held on Tuesday, June 30 at 9:30pm.
The event, inspired by the Master's Thesis of Luiss Student of Political Science, Francesco Ginese, (nicknamed,"Gina"), who died suddenly last year at the age of 26, stems from his paper, entitled “Immigration in an increasingly older Italy: The impact on the pension system”. The debate will tackle the economic, legal, social and cultural issues stemming from integration.
Giovanni Lo Storto, Luiss Guido Carli University General Director will present the discussion. The debate will see Marco Simoni, President of the Fondazione Human Technopole, Ludovico Vaccaro, Public Prosecutor for the Italian Republic, Foggia Tribunal and Madia D’Onghia, Professor of Labor Rights at the Università degli Studi di Foggia. Luigi De Stasio, the Founder of the Associazione G.I.N.A. - Grandi Idee Nascono Amando will moderate the event.
Speakers will reflect upon how migrants are impacting the Italian economic and pension schemes, and what we can do to accommodate this influx on our social and economic fabric.
The debate takes place thru Facebook Live and on YouTube.
