After completing a bachelor’s program in Economics and Management and a Double Degree in International Management with Fudan, Luiss graduate Emanuele Vismara Currò is currently performing an internship with Citibank.

“After high school, I already knew I wanted to study Economics at Luiss. To me the University is a symbol of academic excellence, especially considering the international opportunities it offers, a fundamental pillar of our education.”

During his studies, Emanuele chose to do an Erasmus project in London at Cass Business School: "I met students from all around the world. My time in London also helped me understand what I wanted to do afterwards. Once back in Italy, I had no doubts, I wanted to go abroad again as soon as possible.”

Emanuele then enrolled in the Double Degree in International Management with the Fudan School of Management, and in August 2016, he went to Beijing. “My year in China was amazing. I had the chance to immerse myself in the local culture, which was so fascinating, and to visit a lot of cities.”

In Emanuele’s opinion, one of Luiss University’s greatest strengths is the variety of international programs it offers, such as Erasmus exchanges, structured partnerships and Double Degrees. Emanuele also took advantage of the University’s connections with the business world. “While studying for my master’s, I was able to gain work experience, first with UniCredit Asia in Beijing, and then with KPMG Advisory in the Corporate Finance Office in Rome.”

Emanuele advises students interested in working in a consulting agency or an investment bank to “invest in education and seek out a competitive degree program that is well known in the business world.” He also recommends gaining “experience abroad and performing an internship with a large, well-structured company.”

Since October 2019, Emanuele has been living in Milan where he is interning in the Corporate Banking Division of Citibank. “I am in an experimentation phase, trying to gain as many different experiences as possible so that I can best understand what I want to do and how to best prepare myself to reach my goal.”
