On Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30, a delegation of Luiss leadership is in Beijing to sign a new agreement with Renmin University of China (RUC) and to participate in two days of academic and cultural events.
On Friday, the agreement signing ceremony will take place with Liu Wei, President of Renmin University of China, Andrea Prencipe, Rector of Luiss and Michele Geraci, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economic Development.
Following the ceremony, a working meeting will take place to discuss cooperation between departments and a panel on the theme of digital infrastructure and business with talks from Luiss General Manager Giovanni Lo Storto and a keynote speech by Luiss Vice President Paola Severino.
Concluding the day's events is a performance of Beijing's Central Conservatory of Music and the RUC School of Arts and remarks from Luiss Executive Vice President Luigi Serra and Director of the Italian Institute of Culture Franco Amadei.
Sport will also play part of the weekend's events. On Saturday, March 30, Remnin University will host friendly matches of basketball and tennis between the Chinese institute's students and members of Luiss teams.
