On Monday, October 19, 2016, LUISS inaugurated the new School of Law with guest of honor, President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella.Provost Massimo Egidi gave the welcoming address while Director of the School of Law, Professor Enzo Moavero Milanesi presented course offerings and professional paths within the legal field.
Professor Paola Severino, Vice Provost and President of the School of Law's Research Council, gave a lecture entitled Globalizzazione e armonizzazione delle regole, focusing her attention on reforms in Europe and on the importance of debate in creating a true European culture.
LUISS President Emma Marcegaglia concluded the event affirming the importance of changes currently occuring in the University.
Following the ceremony, President Mattarella met with a group of LUISS students.
