On Wednesday, October 21, 2015, LUISS Cultural Activities inaugurated the LUISS theater workshop on display, dedicated to the theater course and its participants. The exhibit tells the story of the workshop's first 13 years through photos and flyers of the shows put on by over 450 students. Director of the workshop since its first year in 2002, Ferdinando Ceriani says, "I wanted to introduce students to theater in a fun way by blending theory with practical aspects, involving them in set design and introducing them to the world's drama masters."
For 2015-2016, the LUISS theater workshop will celebrate the works of Shakespeare, 400 years after his death with Much Ado about Nothing at Studio 54 in New York, blending the English comedy with music from the 1970s. The workshop's first meeting will be November 12, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. in the Aula Magna Arcelli on Viale Pola.
