 Joseph Stiglitz LUISS

On Friday, April 28, 2017 at 5:00 p.m., Villa Blanc hosts Joseph Stiglitz, recipient of the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences, entitled: US-Europe, a divorce?

The event is part of a series of seminars, The challenges for Europe: dialogues with Jean-Paul Fitoussi, organized by the LUISS School of European Political Economy.

Joseph Stiglitz is an American economist and author as well as professor at Columbia University. In 2001 he received the Nobel Prize in Economics. On February 5, 2010, LUISS University awarded him an honorary degree in Economic Sciences during the inauguration of the academic year.

During the event, Professor Stiglitz will debate with Jean-Paul Fitoussi, professor of European Economics at LUISS and at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris. Following the debate, a Q&A session will allow the audience to ask questions.

The event will be transmitted live in streaming on the LUISS Guido Carli Facebook page. Viewers may interact during the Q&A by sending in questions at any time.
