Adoption Lab - AdLab

The Adoption Lab (AdLab) Project connects students with companies, helping them to deepen the knowledge of the world of work. 

The employers of leading companies adopt the students selected by the project, offering them the chance to work on some projects and the opportunity to do an internship after graduation. 

An initiative to enhance students' CVs and build important working relationships, AdLab is open to all first-year master’s degree students.

During the first year of the program, AdLab arranges visits to headquarters of partner companies and meetings with employers, who explain company policies and skills required to reach important professional goals.

The second year focuses on putting acquired skills to work and testing participants' problem-solving and teamwork skills. In addition, host companies give to AdLab students specific projects to work on as consultants. Luiss tutors collaborate with teams and companies, supervising the activities. At the end of the second year's first semester, the adopted students present their projects in the presence of employers, who give their opinions about the collaboration period as well as advice regarding résumé preparation.

Top students may be offered an internship at a partner company after graduation.

AdLab Skills Training  

Thanks to a synergy with the Academic Gym, Luiss presents AdLab Skills Training, a space dedicated to the development of professional skills with companies, law offices, institutions or AdLab partners.

To participate in AdLab Skills Training, students must fill in the form on learn.luiss.it that can be reached via link sent to target students for each series of lessons.

Only students who have completed an entire series AdLab Skills Training series can take place in selection processes to be adopted by a company.
