The Luiss Guido Carli University invites expressions of interest for a joint application under the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship funding programme.
Luiss is strongly committed to carry out impact actions aimed at improving its national and international positioning in university rankings and concerning the QS World University Rankings by subject these are the results:
- 14th in the world and 1st in Italy for Politics
- Top 50 in the world for Business & Management
- Top 50 in the world for Law
On such a basis, the main aim of the initiative is to encourage researchers of any nationality, with a high potential in improving their research careers, to work on research and innovation projects in the Luiss University framework.
The 2023 Call of application for MSCA Fellowships has been published by the European Commission with deadline fixed on the 13th September 2023 (link)
As hosting institution, Luiss welcomes expressions of interest for potential excellent candidates and promotes a preselection with deadline fixed on the 21st of July 2023.
We hereby invite motivated researchers of any nationality, after having obtained a PhD degree and a research experience to show their interest.
The aim of the expressions of interest call is to identify potential international candidates across several pre-determined research themes with the required profile to work with us through to submission of a full application to the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowships scheme.
Before sending the expression of interest to Luiss, candidates must check they fulfil the conditions of eligibility of the MSCA Call 2023 and ensure a research field suitable with Luiss Departments Research Areas. Then, Luiss is going to evaluate expressions of interest submitted and the support of a Luiss professor as supervisor of the research project proposed in order to apply to the MSCA Call.
Expression of interest to Luiss - to be sent by email to ricerca@luiss.it with the subject line "MSCA Call 2023" - must include:
- A short CV
- A two-page research proposal including a short statement that explains why the candidate has chosen Luiss as host institution and the name of a referee - if the candidate already have it.
Luiss reserves the right to accept the candidate applicant and to support his/her application on the basis of an internal academic evaluation and availability of a suitable supervision. Priority is given to candidates whose profiles fit closely with Luiss existing interests and research orientations.
Having accepted the expression of interest does not imply any obligation for Luiss towards the researcher if the application to the MSCA Call is not successful.
The Luiss Research Office, will support selected candidates in submitting their application to the MSCA Call. Candidates will be informed about the result of Luiss evaluation process on this webpage and by e-mail by the 28th of July 2023.
