Luiss awarded six new PRIN

Luiss has been awarded six research projects by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR). These projects have been submitted in response to the PRIN 2020 call for proposals, issued in October 2020 with the aim to promote Italian scientific research and to finance projects of national interest.

In particular, Luiss has been awarded, as Lead University, the following research projects:

- “Jumpstarting Europe. New Macroeconomic Policies after the Great Crises”, Scientific Responsible Prof. Pierpaolo Benigno;

- “Generational gap and post-ideological politics in Italy (POSTGEN). A generation-aware analysis of ideological destructuring and political change in the Italian case”, Scientific Responsible Prof. Lorenzo De Sio;

- “RE.S.TO.R.E. - Recovering the State Towards a Reformed Economy”, Scientific  Responsible Prof. Aldo Sandulli.

Furthermore, as Partner University, Luiss has obtained funding for the following research projects:

- “Open Social Innovation for a Next Generation of Public Governance”, Scientific Responsible Prof. Maria Isabella Leone;

- “An analysis of the Italian financial legal framework vis-a-vis the Capital Markets Union action plan: the perspective of regulatory fragmentation and sustainability”, Scientific Responsible Prof. Mirella Pellegrini;

- “Geography and Social Inequality in Italy. School, Work, Family and Mobility across Marginal and Central Areas (GESI)”, Scientific Responsible Prof. Maria Rita Testa.

The three-year projects will help strengthening interactions between universities and research centers and enhancing Italian participation in initiatives linked to the European Union Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
